Due to the arrival of cold air, many customers have a concern that the temperature has dropped and our polyurethane hoses can withstand very low temperatures. Therefore, today I will give you a brief explanation
With the arrival of winter, a topic of concern in the pipeline industry has emerged, which is pipeline cold resistance and frost prevention. Many hard pipes on the market are prone to burst suddenly after the water in their pipes freezes and expands,
And there is no need to worry about this issue with the hose, because the hose is only supported by the pressure in the pipe when in use. Even if there is water in the hose, it will not be in the limit state when not in use, and the expansion caused by water freezing can be accepted. However, the cold resistance of the hose cannot be simply ignored. Each type of hose and hose has a working temperature range when in use, which can easily cause hose damage or burst if it exceeds or falls below its temperature range. Ordinary engineering hoses can become hard and brittle at temperatures below zero due to material and process reasons, resulting in non visible cracks on the surface. At the same time, the strength of the material itself will be greatly reduced. At this time, when the hose is in high pressure working condition, it is easy to be damaged or even burst. So many of our customers have this concern, and the high-pressure polyurethane hoses we produce do not need to worry about it. Firstly, our material is polyurethane, and its working temperature range is between -46 ℃ and 76 ℃. Within this range, the physical properties of the hoses do not change much, and their use is not affected. This temperature range actually covers most application scenarios, So our customers don't have to worry about whether the hose can be used in high cold temperatures.
Can high-pressure polyurethane hoses be used for a long time at low temperatures in winter
